DeneBots

From simulation to a real robot.

DeneBots is an independent humanoid robotics initiative led by Denis Cera in Dénia. It aims to develop useful applications on existing platforms and open solutions, starting with practical training for software engineers.

Learn by building.

The first step is an intensive course in reinforcement learning and humanoid control for engineers familiar with Python and Linux. Participants will train a policy, evaluate it in simulation and prepare their code for supervised testing with a real robot.

The planned format combines live classes, a guided project and individual feedback. It can be completed online, with separate Spanish and English cohorts and an optional visit to the lab near Dénia.

In preparation

The target start is January 2027. Exact dates, the curriculum, the lab and robot access will be confirmed on the DeneBots website.

The interest list is open: joining is free and nonbinding. You’ll receive course details and a notification when enrolment opens.
